Audiobooks

We have more than a decade of experience in producing and recording audiobooks. We always record under the supervision of a producer.

Narrators & Agreements
You can either suggest a narrator or we can find one in our voice register. If you wish, we will be in charge of the contract.
Editing & Proofing
Sound processing
We minimize harsh S-noise. It makes for a more pleasant listening experience. We sculpt the nuances of your voice using EQ to bring out its full potential. We compress and adjust the volume. We strive for clarity and intelligibility.
Distribution
We split the audio into chapters, type in the meta and upload the audio files to the selected distributor.

We adapt the actors’ lines to the original. We make sure they blend as seamlessly as possible into the production soundtrack. We also do so-called walla sound

Audio description

We provide audio description of films from start to finish. We can also produce a sign language interpretation for your movie.

Accessibility
”An audio description must contain what is necessary to understand the action or message of the movie. It may also be necessary to convey a mood. The DOS Act requires audio description for video recordings published on or after September 23, 2020.”

Our procedure

Studio rental

We have two Studiobricks studios and an acoustically treated room for recording podcasts. Book with or without technicians.

Our gear
We have Neumann microphones and SSL hardware. The recording software is Studio One. We use Fabfilter plugs. They are simply the best.
Remote recording
Photo & VIdeo
We have a camera, good light and a green screen. You provide the subject and the imagination.
